Accessibility questions to ask before you book a cruise

This is a question list, not advice. We are not a medical, legal or accessibility authority and we don't know your needs. Policies and ships differ by line. Ask the line or a travel advisor, and ask for answers in writing.

Cruisers with mobility needs report the same pain points: accessible cabins that sell out, ports where the ship anchors and passengers go ashore by small boat (a "tender"), and rules that vary by line. Last reviewed 2026-10-17.
